An exhibition of woodcuts by Faith McManus.

Faith McManus exhibits a suite of woodcut prints inspired by the legend of a cowboy movie made in 1926 set in the Far North. In this work Faith has pieced together fragments of memories, starting with the whanau and the stories and photographs from her mother and neighbours that shed light on the real cowboys of the period. This suite of intimate woodcuts explores a fascinating part of New Zealand’s history.
