Fleur spent her formative years in Auckland and completed a Fine Arts degree in Printmaking at the University of Canterbury. Since 1990 she has exhibited mezzotints in several exhibitions both in New Zealand and overseas. From 2001 Fleur has become increasingly interested in making jewellery and has not only integrated aspects of jewellery production techniques in her art but also produced independent works of jewellery as well. Fleur now resides in Wellington.
